For instance, only a few years ago, a man was knocking at people’s doors mysteriously, asking for their kids – till date the mystery has not been solved. Also reports surrounding animal cruelties, espcially killing of cats is common in this region.
On top of that, if you take criminal occurences into consideration, Yishun is a hotned for harassing both foreigners and locals alike.
As a result, if you end up in this region for some reason, be careful. If anyone approaches you then don’t share any personal information.
2. Geylang:
Did you know that Geylang is called the ‘centre of sin?’ Singapore’s famous red-light district is not a place for childen, minors, and families.
